Founded by Theresa Monforte-Caraballo, Grandma’s Love has been helping kids in need since 2015 and has been committed to combating hunger and illiteracy throughout Brooklyn and the rest of New York City, particularly in low income and at-risk neighborhoods. Grandma’s Love knows that one of the keys to a child’s success is making sure they are fed, so after feeding New York City’s children, the organization offers books, literacy programs, and educational resources to keep feeding their minds.
